The handmade flower/s can be attached  on a layout, a card or a project.

And here’s my take…

Paper: CS Bazzils, PP Bo Bunny
Embellishments: Ribbons unknown, push pins Webster’s Pages ($1.00 pick)

Stickers from Prima Marketing

This is my 3rd triangle trifold card, instead of tying the card with ribbon like the tutorial I found in youtube, I tried insert method.  The doily from the pattern paper is tucked behind the handmade rosette to secure it from flipping.

One layer - week 110

this week in Less is More blog challenge is to create one layer.   Yes, you read me right! one layer paper only.  What a challenge.
It's a really tricky one this week girls!
Not only is it
ONE LAYER
but we are also asking you for
SPOTS and STRIPES
If we could use papers it would be easy, right?
We know you'll come up with some fabulous designs and are really looking forward to seeing what appears.
so this is my take on this week challenge, this is my second card. the first one was really a no no :p

Yessss... It is very very challenging to create one layer card, so I embossed it using sizzix embossing plate. first, I smeared pink ink on the inside plate and put a die cut bracket in the middle. After I got a notebook effect, I then  run  the card with bracket inside using sizzix big shot  to get an embossed effect. Stamped floral and sentiment: happy birthday. For the spots I used embossing pen then brush it with dry chalk. I must admit I tend to get overboard :-/ so this card doesn't look as simple and clean as I want it to be.

this morning, after dawn prayer and done with ironing, I sit and make some cards.  As I was looking at the dots and the embossed line on the card I made, it struck me that it looks right for LIM's week 110 challenge.
using a stitch stamp I stamped a few lines  to make stripes.  well finally, I did create something simple with just one layer of paper and stamps and inks

FSFS February 2013 - Picture Inspiration with a twist

well, well, well... it's that time again. time for a new challenge in From Scrappers For Scrappers' blog.  this month's challenge hosted by Maya.

Create a layout, a card or a project based on this picture however you must included the twist as I stated below:

*Use at least 3 colours from these; red, silver, copper, gold, black & white.
*For base, you can use either black or/and white.
*Must have sparkly, rhinestones, pearls & metal charms.
*Choose at least 2 from these elements; ribbons (bow), heart, lips or camera.
(thats a lot of twist, eh?! hehehe...)

so, here is the picture

and here is my take
I bought this dress form  a long time ago and when I see this month's challenge I decided to do something with it.  The dress form has no leg so I used a tissue roll but it kind of short.  I paint it with black pain and dab lightning black ink, the black lace was my mother's shawl.  Next I put a little bit of everything according to "the twist".

Now it's your turn. For more inspirations (pssst... our DTs have submitted dazzlings projects for your inspiration) hop on to From Scrappers For Scrappers blog.  Closing date 13th March, 2013.  Winner will be pick randomly.  And the great news is - We'll be having 2 categories, one for adult scrappers & one for Junior scrappers (which are age 12 & below)

Good luck!

You're the sweetest

I think I'm addicted to this challenge.  the sketch is so simple and easy to make.  I can make them in minutes, something to destress me from my piling tasks.

A card using sketch of I {heart} sketches #05
Stamp: TPC Studio Cupcake

Paper: leftovers
American craft stamper pen
and washi tape

a delightful inspiration indeed.  http://designed2delight.com/blog/2013/02/i-heart-sketches-no-5/

and here's my take on this beautiful sketch:

and I was in crafty mood yesterday I made this flip-flap mini album Using my January Craftbox, webster's pages freebie and maya road downloadable calendar I created this mini album:

i {heart} sketches #4

this year I'm trying to craft and blog more.  yep, the hardest part is "to blog more".  I like to browse internet for ideas and inspiration and been meaning to join a crafty challenges hosted by so many crafters out there.  I will print them or draw or just write down notes on them but I never (almost) get around in making them :p

today I happen to see this sketch challenge from (i {heart} sketches) and it looks easy and delightful indeed  (minus the digi stamps) so I made this card with leftover papers I can find in my office table drawer.

so here is my take.  I love how simple and clean it looks.  Maybe I will make another card with this sketch. maybe...

happy crafting... o_O
